What Yuanbao does well

Agent-style office work, including file export, costs nothing
Pulls WeChat public-account articles in for summarizing
Generates and downloads PPT, Word, Excel and PDF files
Chinese conversation reads natural without any prompt engineering

Where it falls short

Flagship model context window is not published
Deep reasoning quality stays unproven on hard tasks
Desktop coverage is the narrowest of the Chinese apps

Who should use it

Free PPT and spreadsheet generation
WeChat and public-account content
Students and light office work

What it feels like day to day

The use case is narrow and clear: it sits inside WeChat, so when a long public-account article lands in a group I hand it over and get a summary without leaving the chat. Two model families sit behind it, Hunyuan and DeepSeek, and for ordinary questions either is fine. Ask it to reason through something hard, or push a long document in, and quality drops, so that work goes elsewhere.
